Mission Statement:
Our mission is to encourage every experienced Christian homeschool
family to mentor one new family into homeschooling each year and to help
build a bridge to Christian homeschooling for families contemplating
homeschooling.
Philosophy:
Homeschooling has been a grassroots movement from its beginning, and we
believe that any growth or development should continue at the
grassroots. Consequently, Homeschooling Family-to-Family's role is to
encourage and when asked, to assist mentoring families, but not tell
them all they must do. To succeed Christian homeschooling families must
provide their children with a truly Christian and Bible-based education
yet they may use different approaches.
We support any Christian homeschooling approach that truly brings
children up "in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4),
trains them "in the way they should go"
(Proverbs 22:6), thus preparing them for a life of service and worship
that will glorify God.
A Brief description of our Sponsor:
FRONTLINE MINISTRIES is an evangelical Christian ministry seeking
to communicate the Christian Faith and worldview in arenas not routinely
being addressed with the Gospel and biblical truth such as K-12
Christian education, especially homeschooling, family relationships and
order, raising of children, business and media. We urge intercessory
prayer and engagement in these arenas as part of our Christian
responsibility, believing that by following biblically prescribed means,
revival in our families, churches and culture is possible, recognizing
always that real revival is a sovereign act of a gracious and forgiving
God. The Exodus Mandate Project
is also an outreach of FRONTLINE MINISTRIES.
We welcome Jube Dankworth as National Director for "Homeschooling Family
to Family," the newest outreach of FRONTLINE MINISTRIES. Jube is an
experienced (17 years) homeschool Mom and leader in the state of Texas
homeschool movement. She is founder of "Texas Home
Educators" and is a homeschool consultant to national, regional
and local homeschool groups and organizations. She is available to speak to your
homeschool association or give media interviews. We are delighted that
someone with Jube's wide experience, professionalism and Christian
maturity has accepted the assignment to be the director of this
important new outreach to help committed homeschool families mentor
other families into this important adventure in Biblical parenting.
Blessings.
